Olympic Maths!


Our class are investigating length and weight this week so we are exploring this through the Maths Olympics! We have 10 events and we have made a short video of some of our investigations. 

We hope you enjoy it!

What other events do you think we could have added?

    I absolutely live this idea. It makes Maths fun and relevant and linked to a current event. Could I suggest a reverse version of the high jump (the limbo) to see how low you can go?

    Thanks Leanne, we will add that to our events! We have tidily wink high jumps and counter toss long jump too so this limbo will be lots of fun for us!

    Great idea! What about time? You could have timed races with the children using stopwatches (or iPods) to time the participants?
